Flight Attendant Manual Standard

The air operator must have an approved flight attendant manual that meets the requirements laid down in the Flight Attendant Manual Standard (TP12295).

TP12995 has two parts. Part A lists those items that must be covered in the flight attendant manual, and must be carried on board by each flight attendant. Part B lists those items that must be issued to each flight attendant, but do not need to be carried on board each flight. An air operator can choose to put those items required by Parts A & B in the same manual. Whether or not they choose to put them in separate documents, the contents of Part A must meet the standard in order to obtain approval.
