Pharmacology
Q: What is Pharmacology?

A: Pharmacology is the study of the effects of drugs on the human body and on other living systems.

Pharmacologists discover how drugs work at the molecular, cellular, tissue and whole body level, so they need to have a good understanding of chemistry, biochemistry, molecular and cell biology and physiology. This depth of knowledge across subject areas enables pharmacologists to approach the problems surrounding human health and disease from a unique perspective.
