Aluminum/Brass Faucets
Faucet Finishes
Finish is the term used to determine the coating or plating material or color on the outside of the faucet. It can be a variety of colors and metals, and its appearance is often a deciding factor for many consumers. Some finishes are also easier to clean than others. In addition, some manufacturers have a lifetime warranty for their finishes and guarantee the metals will not oxidize or rust with regular use.
Faucet Body
The body of the faucet describes what metal is underneath the finish. Typically, faucets are made from solid brass, which will be heavy when you pick it up, or zinc.
