This list may surprise you, as these behaviors are learned in families and, until recently, have been socially acceptable. You may have been deeply harmed by these experiences but can't identify what happened to you. Like many others, you may find that when you raise your awareness of your own suffering ... that you may realize that you are inadvertently inflicting the same harm on others. Raising your awareness of destructive patterns of behavior, is the first step to positive change.
