8th Dhul Hajjah After offering Namaz-e-Fajr in Mecca, you have to move towards Mina. Though Mina is about three miles from Makkah. Hundred thousands of people and thousands of automobiles get over the road. The journey takes lot of time; hence do not delay. Through out on the way, maintain recitation of Talabiyyah. "Labbayk, Allahumma Labbayk - Labbayk, La shareeka laka labbayk". Innal Hamda wan-nimata laka wal-mulk. La shareeka lak". On 8th Dhul Hijjah, you have to offer the prayers of Dhuar, Asr, Maghrib and Isha at Mina, the night too you have to spend in Mina. Namaz-e-Fajr is to be offered on 9th Dhul Hijjah also in Mina. He will, to His generosity and glory, accord your needs. 9th Dhul Hajjah "ARAFAT DAY" The Second obligation in Hajj-ul-Tamatoo is the stay at Arafat to attain nearness to Allah. The requirement is the presence in Arafat, regardless of whether the pilgrim is riding, walking, sitting or moving. 9th DhulHijja is the day of Arafath. Today the highest rukn ( component ) of Hajj is to be rendered; without which Hajj does not take place i.e stoppage at Arafat. The automobile which had brought you from Mecca to Mina, will take you back, on 9th DhulHajjah, from Mina to Arafat. Get ready to move to Arafat. Through out on the way to Arafat; maintain stating, the Majesty and Grandeur of Allah according to your insight. Witness the elegance and the magnificence of Allah; a sea of human being is surging, in only one color. The difference in cast & creed, color & tongue has vanished. As a matter of caution, the stay at Arafat should be from the beginning of noon on the 9th Dhil Hijjah till sunset. There is a mosque named Masjid-e-Namrah, erected by Hazrat Ibraheem. Imam of this mosque leads the Zuhar and Asr prayers with on Azan and two Takbeers connected together. If your are close to the Masjid-e-namrah please do try to go to Mashid- after passing through a mob of hundred thousands of persons and thousands of tents of similar color. Offer your Dhuhar and Asr prayers under the plain open sky of Arafat separately. Today in the plain of Arafat, it is the largest gathering of monotheists of the world. Every body is busy reciting similar zikr (remembrance), clad in similar dress. If not possible to remain standing through out, keep standing as much as you can, to sit or lie down is also permitted. This must be in mind that day of Arafah is extremely auspicious, viz a place sacred like Arafat, having moments of approval of Doas and Hymns; the divulgence of divine mercy and forgiveness. After Namaz-e-Asr, keep yourself busy again in supplications. After completion of Waqoof all the faces are glowing and are radiant. It is the time of Maghrib. Today for the first time in one's life, orders are, not to offer Namaz-e- Maghrib on time. But soon as it is Maghrib, depart from Arafat to Muzdalifa. Same, auto-mobile which had brought from Mina to Arafat, will take you to Muzdalifa. Muzdalifa is a plain; whose perimeters are a mountain named Massher-ul-Haram. Staying near it is virtues, otherwise halt anywhere, in Muzdalifa, a place is available or where-ever your carrier stays. Muzdalifa: The third obligation: The in Hajj-ul-Tamatoo is the stay at Muzdalifah which is also known as Maashar-ul-Haram. The limits within which the stay is onligatory are from Ma'zmein to Hiyadh and Wadi Muhassar. If, because of overcrowding and limited time, it is not possible to be within the limits, one can climb to Ma'zmein. The intention for the stay must be to attain nearness to Allah. Do not offer Namaz-e-Maghrib on way from Arafat to Muzdalifa. But on arriving at Muzdalifa when the time of Namaz-e-Maghrib sets in, offer both Maghrib and Isha prayers together, at on time, with one Azan and one aqamat; in such away the first the obligatory Maghrib then obligatory Isha. Do not offer any Sunnat or Nafilah not do any other job, in between these two obligatory namaz. After completing Namaz, if you wish, take rest a while. This night you have to pass under open sky at Muzdalifa. If possible pass whole night in Ebadaat (Divine worship). It is not prohibited to sleep this night; but whole life ahead is lying for taking rest. Stay awake and make your destiny flourish. This very night you have to do an important Job. From this very place you have to collect pebbles; wash it and make it clean for hitting the satans. Collect about seventy of them, either very small or large and after cleaning them keep them in an envelop or bag. Offer Namaz-e-Fajr on time. After Namaz, hold on for few minutes. The pebbles must be thrown one after the other and not two or more of them at the same time. "Bismmillah allah ho akber" "Bismmillah allah ho akber" "Bismmillah allah ho akber" Before hitting, you have to stop reciting Talabiyyah. Follow the other groups who are proceeding to strike Jamrat-ul-Uqbah, the big satan. Too much is the rush; time and space are limited. It is necessary that the pebbles hit the Jamrah. TAKE EXTRA CARE SECURITY ARRANGEMENTS-TAKE EXTRA CARE The pebbles must reach the Jamrah by being thrown at it and not merle depositing them there. The throwing of the pebbles and hitting the Jamrah both must be done by the pilgrim himself. The throwing of the pebbles must be done between sunrise and sunset. Ladies /sick/elderly pilgrims are permitted to leave Muzdalifah at night, may throw the pebbles at the Jamrah at night during the eve of Eid. After sacrifice, this very day, men have to get their head shaved, or trimmed. Women have to adopt the same process, which they had taken for UMRAH. As such, go to bountiful Mecca and perform Tawaf of Bait-ullah. Although they are obligatory, they do not constitute the ceremonies of Hajj and failure to perform them, even if deliberate, does not invalidate the Hajj. An agent performing a tawaaf-ul-Nisa will do so on behalf of the principal and not himself. The procedures and rules regarding the Tawaaf-ul-Nisa and the prayers following it are the same as those for the Tawaaf for Hajj or Tawaaf-e-Ziarat, and the prayers after it. The only difference is in the intention (niyyah) With relation to Hajj-e-Tamattu, you have to perform Saei (hastening) also. The previous saei which you had performed was for Umrah, not for Hajj. The only difference is that you will perform Tawaaf of Hajj or Tawaf-e-Ziarat and Saei in you usual clothes. 11th Dhul Hijja Twelfth obligation: The twelfth obligation in Hajj is to spend the night of the eve of the eleventh and twelfth in Mina.
