What should be the priority of the health care system? This is in reference to the December 9, 2010 webinar on Electronic Health Records moderated by the Illinois Public Health Institute. What should be the priority of the health care system? Quality training of medical doctors. Electronic Health Records resources should be enhanced. Incompetent medical doctors' wrong diagnosis and treatment will make mobilizing resources of electronic health record system a futile exercise. The Internet can enhance educating quality medical doctors. Does an electronic health record system enhance health care? Yes, it does. Also mentioned are incentives for exchange of health information to improve the quality of care and report on quality measures.
