A controversy arose regarding selection of a lecturer in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery (CVTS). This needs an MCh (master of chirurgical) in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery. How many MCh's in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery are required in the state? What skills and knowledge are needed for an MCh in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery? What are the duties and responsibilities of a person with an MCh in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery? What equipment does cardiovascular and thoracic surgery need? What other resources does cardiovascular and thoracic surgery need? A person educated at an accredited program who is certified and passed examinations still may not be able to answer relevant questions. Let him or her answer these questions publicly. If one with an MCh in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery publicly displays better skills and knowledge, let him or her go ahead. A state needs few MCh's in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery. There is a need for many MD doctors in the state who can diagnose and treat all medical emergencies, all medical disabilities, and all non-emergency and non-disability medical conditions. |
