On July 22, 2011, it was revealed that Shadi Lal Pandita was found to possess fraudulent ration cards in different zones.
Every resident of the state is entitled to a ration card. Does he have one ration card in the state? Does he have more than one ration card in the state or outside the state from which he gets resources every month at multiple locations? If he has more than one ration card in the state or outside the state from which he gets resources every month at multiple locations, that is a serious concern. What should happen if a person is originally from the state and at this point is a resident of another state and comes back to the state permanently? A ration card should be issued. What should happen if a person is originally from the state and at this point is a resident of another state and comes back to the state for 10 to 15 days? The state can arrange for him or her to get survival needs for 10-15 days if there are no genuine objections. |
