Hajj this year is expected to fall between October 24-29, 2012 What questions should a person answer before undertaking this task? Do you practice good character and good behavior? How many times have you lied in the past? How many times do you lie every day? Do you know that performing Hajj and then lying is not a virtue or quality of a civilized human being, and lying is a criminal offense? A person first needs to update his or her character, behavior, insight of rights of self and others, and then take any religious ritual tasks, including Hajj. On this day make a declaration. I will never lie. I will always speak the truth. I will never misinterpret the facts. I will not get involved in any harms. If I am asked a question, I will answer truthfully to the best of my ability and knowledge. I will get involved in public service. |
